Okay, this place is spotted by not only me (the local) but some tourists as well. Well it makes sense, Decantus wine bar is on one of the most touristic streets of Vilnius.
So if you're looking for a locals-only experience, the place might not be for you. However, if you're looking for a nice and calm environment, a great selection of wine and bartenders, who are happy to spend some time and select the best wine to satisfy your taste and need - Decantus wine place is just perfect.
They have a couple of tables out in the street, so you can enjoy your glass of red and observe people passing by. Inside the place is very authentic, a little bit like a wine cellar, rather dark and, obviously, full of fine wine.
The wine list is long enough for any visitor to find something: whether it's classics, or something more exotic. They have some Lithuanian wine too.
By the way, those who are visiting Vilnius during the chilly season - they make one of the best hot wines in the city (and I've tried it in many different places. Yum!).
The food menu is appetizers and cheese plates mostly. So this place is not for meals. It's for wine and stories. So grab your glass and tell a story or two!
