Muraba (meaning jam or preserve in Armenian) is an awesome cafe: the ambiance is always chill, the service is always friendly, and the beverages/food always great. On my first visit, one of the employees recommended that I try out the dolma. I listened to his advice and was floored - it was excellent. Moreover, the blini are also wonderful: four delicate pancakes served with various jams on the side.
The cafe is generally quiet, making it a great place to read or do some work. It is also a great meet-up spot. Moreover, the atmosphere is intimate and cozy. The cafe is decorated with crafts and furniture made by local artists. This means that the cafe boasts a unique souvenir shop: jewellery, clothing, furniture, gifts, among other things, are on sale.
Muraba is fairly hidden. It is located in an old stone building near the intersection of Moscovyan and Spendiaryan. It is also gated, so keep your eye out!
