Once I met a young couple from Finland. They said that they were going to marry soon, so they came to Paavli and got a cool suit for the groom, and a dress for the bride and cheap alcohol from the shop nearby. That's what we call a budget Helsinki wedding! So, if you have just a few euros in your pocket, but want to have a fresh look to impress and have fun with your friends, then go to Paavli Kaltsukas.
Its huge hangars are full of clothes, furniture, toys, accessories etc, you name it. There is one for higher prices, where the items are finely selected, washed and classified and an even larger one where you can only give out a few cents for each item, but you need to dig more in there. If there is a bit of treasure hunter in you, you can find rarities in both sections.
The landscape around is raw and industrial: the bars and shops in the neighborhood are cheap. Come and explore more of Northern Tallinn. Take tram number 1 or 2 to Kopli, get off at Angerja and walk around 8-10 minutes.
