Before I ever visited Barnini myself, I was being told many times that this place serves the best coffee in town. Now, I'm always careful with such statements, but the coffee there is indeed amazing. They also serve a diversity of coffee drinks, so you will find something delicious no matter what you prefer. Along with your coffee, they have a small variety of sweet goods and bagels, which have delicious fillings.
Barnini is very well established in Antwerp and became one of the most favorite coffee bars for locals. It can be very busy especially around lunch time, so you might also want to check out their sister bars Bite Me a couple of houses further down the street or Kaffeenini in the Nationalestraat.
Their decor has a retro design and its terrace is cute and sunny. You will also get the retro feeling whenever you see this place from the outside, because of its green painted facade. An important tip some people might appreciate: you can only pay in cash.
