Hello there,
Next to our frituur culture we also love our bread and pasteries like the French. I cannot count anymore how many times I ate chocolate bread, croissants or similar pastries. The fact that we sell it everywhere leads to the existence of a few professional bakeries, the ones that cost a bit more but taste as if you went to a Michelin restaurant for pastries. Domestic is one of them. It is situated on the boarder of Zurenborg and Berchem so when you go there and the weather is nice you can choose to eat it either on Dageraadplaats or a little bit further away the Groen Kwartier.
The pastries are clearly homemade and have that extra edge, like, for example, extra egg yolk on top of the chocolate bread that makes it that much more yummier. They also have other products like self-made granola, cakes and many more. Definitely worth the visit if you like bread culture as much as me!

A classic is the pizza Calabrese with spicy salami, paprika, tomato, and mozzarella. Ask for some grilled onions on top to make it even tastier (you can thank me later).
