Santorinios Athens – Island feeling in the city

An old Greek-styled house that has been transformed into a taverna. The small garden transfers you immediately to an island. Walls full of flowers decorated with the old-style, the ones we remember from our time as children, somewhere far away from Athens.

Don't let yourselves get irritated by the relaxed way of the old lady that will serve you. Don't take it personally, it's just her style. Just smile along and enjoy the food, which by the way is delicious and very very cheap. You'll get all the typical Greek dishes and please don't forget to order 'fava'. It's one of the best I've eaten in Athens.

Fridays and Saturdays I would recommend you reserve a table because it's always full and it has happened to me more than once to end up obliged to satisfy my hunger just by the superb smells that linger in the neighborhood.
