Sometimes we wonder: where is the end of the world? Well, we have one in Belgrade! It is in the one of the best of Belgrade’s green areas, Ada Ciganlija, our artificial lake, a pride of the city. But, like every diamond, it is not easy to find, so you must put some effort (I recommend walking), but I promise you that it will pay off!
You will find Na Kraj Sveta, or To The End of the World, in the quiet part of Ada Ciganlija, after the nudist beach which is near the end of the lake.
Since Ada is generally a summer location, the tavern works from April to September, but I know that I've spent some beautiful winter days here -- it is best to check first. Na Kraj Sveta makes you feel relaxed & welcome. You can take your pet with you, enjoy a cold draft beer or hot chocolate for a drink. They make classic Serbian barbecue but also excellent burritos and fresh-cooked classic Serbian food. Or you can just take a coffee break in walking around Ada Ciganlija. Like many other places on Ada, Na Kraj Sveta has deck chairs on the beach, so that is a double win!
Now, the main question: what makes it different from others?
Well, you will feel there at home; when you sit you will have the feeling that your mom will come from the kitchen and ask you what you would like for lunch today...
