Exploring Boston on a budget? Stop by the Busy Bee Diner (close to the St. Mary’s T stop) for a quick bite at a price that’s easy on your wallet. This tiny restaurant serves hot, affordable food perfect for a cold morning. As it is a local diner, you can’t expect five-star dishes, but when you can get a breakfast plate for roughly $ 4.50, who can complain?
The Busy Bee’s not open late, but it opens at 06:00 every morning besides Sunday, so it’s a great way to start an early morning of touring the city. I, for one, have actually started to get excited about waking up early enough to grab food before work because I know I’ll be able to get hot coffee and pancakes in a down-to-earth atmosphere. I think one of the reasons I enjoy this place so much is because I’m a huge Pulp Fiction fan, and love the chance to experience the atmosphere of a retro diner (although the low prices don’t hurt either!).
