I know the burger on the picture looks like it's burned, but it's not! Dunajsky Pivovar is a restaurant on a boat on the Danube river in Bratislava, and they specialize in modern cuisine, so the burger bun is actually black because the chef uses squid ink :) It's a lovely idea and this burger is actually one of my absolute faves. There's blue cheese, homemade mayo sauce, bacon, and classic stuff like tomato, salad with egg.
The place is great but very busy all the time. It's therefore good to make a reservation before you come. Also, the best is definitely to sit outside on the boat as you can hear the sound of the Danube's waves, it creates a spectacular atmosphere.
Dunajsky Pivovar also has apartments inside the boat, so in case you drink more beers than expected, you can book a room as well! :) All in all, a great place for draft beer and an amazing burger!
