Kurdish/middle eastern cuisine at its finest right here in Bucharest. By the fragrances that welcome you right at the door (spices and meat over charcoal), you realize it’s time for a feast. You’re not gonna be able to only take one thing off their menu, there are quite a few items that will excite the taste buds of each and every one. From traditional Kebabs of all sorts, soups, and grilled meats to finger-licking desserts you’re gonna want a taste of everything.

Fear not! Their head waiter Catalin is the perfect guide for this culinary experience. He knows the menu by heart and always has some menu tweaks/hacks to offer and can read from a mile away what you’d like. Made the experience better tenfold. We love it when the waiters or owners actually interact and show us they love (and why) what they craft there.

My personal recommendations are the Ali nazik (charcoaled pieces of beef with an eggplant puree with yogurt, garlic, and Turkish butter) and Karisik pide (boat-shaped dough, copious amount of cheese, spiced beef mince, traditional Turkish sausage). They always serve you some sides and a mixed platter of desserts “on the house”.

The traditional elements all over the place combined with the sizzling barbecues you can see from your table will make the experience as authentic as it gets.
