I visit this place whenever I would like to get some summer vibes while still in town.
It is a perfect spot for taking a stroll with your loved ones, and it is an ideal spot for a family walk, too! There are many restaurants around that you can visit and a modern park on the other side with a nice view. In the summer, there is also a beach bar, so it really feels like you are next to the sea, although it’s just the Danube.
I found this place when I wanted to have a picnic in the city with a nice setting and here is everything you need to have a great time. You can sit on the grass with no city noises… the beautiful river view under some shade during the summer months!
The temperature is perfect for enjoying a nice meal, whether you bring your own or visit one of the many restaurants. I highly recommend visiting this place at least once, especially if you have a picnic bag with you. It's also a great idea for outdoor sport lovers to stop here: you can bike, skate, and have your early morning jog here, too.
