Azraq w Bonny is an art space in Dokki that helps handicraft artists in Egypt to present their art through bazaars and expositions. Furthermore, the gallery itself has pretty unique pieces from frames to bags to wallets etc.
I made my first visit to the Azraq w Bonny gallery when I desperately needed a gift for a friend’s upcoming birthday. Before walking into the gallery, I had zero items in mind but after going there I found many unique and pretty looking items. It wasn’t easy to make a choice, so many pretty decorations and neat leather notebooks... it was all so tempting. In the end, I settled for a nice little painting that can be hung onto the wall. The gallery is my resort for any gift dilemma.
The gallery also offers artistic workshops for a variety of things like leather, embroidery, mosaic, painting and other things, all of which sound pretty attractive.
