What’s better than a box of chocolates or a bouquet of roses? A box of shawarma! Now, don’t get me wrong, us Egyptians do enjoy chocolates and flowers but if I had to pick, it would be shawarma every time!
While the idea of shawarma as a Valentine’s Day gift may sound strange at first, don’t knock it until you try BaB sharQy’s box of shawarma. The box consists of 28/42 pieces of shawarma which can either be a mix of beef and chicken shawarma or beef/chicken only as per choice, paired with spicy sauce, garlic sauce, tahini and a side of pickles, as well as toasted bread and some French fries.
To me, a Lebanese man’ouche is a perfect side dish. A za’atar (thyme) and cheese man’ouche is a beautiful light herbal flavor that is unmatched; a close second is the spinach man’ouche, both of which you can find in BaB sharQy.
