I never believed that a grilled quail dish could be so tasty. I'm grateful to Abla restaurant, that gave me the chance to find out how delicious that dish is.
Abla is an oriental grill restaurant that gave me the chance to try many grilled oriental dishes that I may have never found somewhere else, and grilled quail is one of them.
The restaurant used to be a villa with a huge private garden, until, one day, the owner decided to change it to a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining tables.
Abla has never stopped amazing me; every time I go dining there, I try something I've never tasted before. My favourite dish there (which is also the most important dish in the restaurant) is the grilled quail I already mentioned, as well as the Mazalika dish (oven-cooked quail liver or chicken with onion, tomato and green chilli).
I also like the camel liver, which is also very rare to find anywhere else.
The place is super-crowded in the weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), but you can still find an empty table those days.
During high season (like in holy Ramadan months), a reservation should be done before going to the restaurant.
