I still remember the first time I visited Christo restaurant after a long day in the Giza Pyramids area. I was searching for a good restaurant for lunch and I got more than I was hoping for.
Christo restaurant is a traditional fish and seafood restaurant and one of the oldest restaurants around its location. It was established in 1930 and it keeps amazing me for not only the quality of the food it presents, but also the unique location as well, as the second level of the restaurant has a magnificent view over the Giza pyramids, where I can satisfy my stomach and my eyes as well.
Grilled shrimp, mullet fish and Egyptian onion are my favorite selections here. Moreover, they have many fish options.
I prefer being there in the daylight to enjoy a morning with a clear view of the Pyramids. Disregarding that the prices are a bit high, it is still one of my favorite dining spots in Giza.
