Good food, beautiful decoration and warm atmosphere: that's what makes me love restaurant Oldish, in addition to its location in my favorite area ever, Mohamed Mahmoud Street right in Downtown Cairo, the most famous street there.
It's a spot to eat, hang out to drink beverages, celebrate or even study. I'm in love with this spot -- my eyes see the beauty all around while I'm eating or studying. Oldish does give me that with its lovely decoration and its colors that make me feel comfortable.
About the menu, they offer traditional Egyptian dishes, in addition to some Middle Eastern dishes, some crust pizzas, many beverages and desserts. It will be interesting for travelers to try the Egyptian dishes like 'Mahshy', famous Egyptian dish. They also have hot appetizers like the oriental sausage, stuffed grape leaves (Mahshy in Egyptian) and others.
Oldish's specialty is Egyptian platters like Okra with meat tajine, mossaka with minced meat tajine, kebab halla tajine, Oldish frik with chicken tajine and others.
