If I were to describe Stage El Zamalek, I’d describe it as a house of arts.
The interesting story behind this place is that the house it is inside of is an old vintage house filled with antiques. An English movie director and his family once lived here. For reasons unknown, the family fled the country and the house was left abandoned for many years. Now, this house is a place where you can go to have a drink, listen to live music, sing karaoke or sit on a comfy cushion and take in the aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It’s a place where Egyptian youth go to chill and enjoy their time. The aforementioned aesthetics of the place also make it a great place to take photos with a vintage-y vibe -- it looks straight out of a '50s movie!
Their annual Christmas and New Years parties are also worth mentioning, if the timing is right I make sure not to miss them.
