Wildfire has never disappointed me. I started coming while I was in college (2004). When our parents would come in town my best friend Meaghan and I would pick restaurants that we wanted to go to but could not afford. Wildfire was one of the restaurants we would make reservations at and enjoy time with our families.
Widlfire provides great service and quality food. The menu is vast so it is easy to please the whole table. I would suggest ordering a cocktail to start and move to the wine list with dinner. Along with my first cocktail I have started to enjoy a cup of shrimp and crab bisque, Meaghan starts with the Caesar salad with her very dirty martini. Fifteen years later I am still ordering the spit-fire roasted chicken while Meaghan continues to go with the filet mignon with a side of béarnaise sauce for our main courses.
Wildfire is a place you can take your time and experience the cozy environment that can make you forget the busy streets of Chicago right outside. Do not skip dessert here and ask to see the dessert tray. Wildfire is part of the Lettuce Entertainment frequent dinner program, it is free to sign up and several other of my favorite spots are also part of this group making it easy to earn $ off dinners.
