The Fuior Restaurant opened just recently in Chișinău, but it immediately became a sensation. Fuior is a new way to look at Moldovan food and they offer an incredible taste experience. Everything is about the package. Moldovan food is great and it is very tasty, but you cannot serve the food that your grandma makes in a Michelin Star restaurant... it needs to be refined. Fuior is wonderful to be in with its amazingly minimalistic but stylish decor. Their black dumplings with zander (fish) stuffing is one of the most Salvador-Dali food that Moldova has ever seen. I enjoyed their quince tea and several other warm beverages. The staff is incredibly friendly and the prices are reasonable for such an establishment.
Best of all is that the restaurant has a summer terrace and they are located in the absolute city center next to Cathedral Park. It is within walking distance from souvenir shops, museums, stores, hotels and theaters. Make sure to make a reservation because they are usually booked for dinner!
