The majority of locals walk to work in Dublin so it is accurate to say that I pass at least 50 coffee cups each morning! The last coffee shop that I pass on my way to work is a little spot called Coffee 2 Go - as its name suggests, it is where you go for your takeaway coffee! I didn't really drink coffee until I moved to Dublin, but I have been ordering tall lattes to-go since I discovered this spot!
Coffee 2 Go stocks the yummiest porridge, pastries and scones along with soup and sandwiches at lunchtime. There is a lengthy queue each morning, which moves pretty swiftly so you are never waiting longer than 4 or 5 minutes.
Their scones are possibly the biggest treat - they have such a variety to choose from: mixed berry, raspberry, blueberry, maple & pecan, nutella. raisin and of course, plain! I didn't realise it until recently, but they also have a seating area downstairs, so it is perfect if you have more time on your hands.
