Do you dream of a place where you can sip an amazing cocktail, with live jazz music and a 360 degree view on Florence while the sun is setting? Well great news, it does exist! Every summer Empireo opens up to the public and clients of the hotel, it is one of a kind for its view and it never gets old. They have a rich buffet for their aperitif, and also they organize a lot of different events.
They have live music almost every night and they also organize events with restaurants that bring different menus with their best plates. Just be careful: it is a little hidden, you have to look for the Hotel Plaza Lucchesi, go in and take the elevator to the last floor. A lot of locals don't know that it is open to the public so it will never be crowded. Make sure to reserve a table, dress for the occasion and bring a camera to immortalize one of the most beautiful sunset spots of the city.
