If you are site seeing and want something on the go but don't want to fall in a tourist trap, then this hidden little antique place is just for you. I fell in love the first time I went, and also thought that having 2 focaccia was a good idea... They are very filling even if they seem small. It is a special recipe that has been in the Bondi family for a long time. The tables and look have not been changed from the '50s so get ready to take a vintage pic to put on your Instagram profile!
These are not simple sandwiches, they have special fillings that take hours to prepare, like the eggplant parmigiana or a cooked zucchini sauce. The bread is always warm and fresh... just thinking about it I could eat one now. It is right near mercato San Lorenzo, smack in the center, and only have places inside to sit down for a focaccia.
