Florence is really busy in some periods of the year. So, if you want to have a walk in the city center and it's one of those days when you don't want crowds, you have to choose different, tiny streets. Sometimes it happens that you're surprised about what you will find out.
In one of these walks, I discovered a tiny welcoming bar, La Boite. It is in via Palazzuolo, in a real melting-pot area, where you can hardly tell you are in Florence. Here's you'll feel like you're in a European city and you'll like it! So you'll find a Senegalese barbershop, a typical Tuscan osteria, an Algerian grocery store, The Street Levels Gallery and a bar like La Boite that sums everything up.
In La Boite you'll find young and old people from the neighborhood as well as Italians and foreign students. You can find contemporary art, good wine and Tuscan food, nice music and a welcoming atmosphere.
