It's easy to find some tasty food in Florence in a typical osteria; it's a bit harder to find a welcoming place where to eat it. Lo Sprone pizzeria is a perfect place to have a good pizza or a Tuscan dish at a lovely spot. It's just around a corner in piazza della Passera, in one of those tiny, typical streets you find in Santo Spirito neighborhood. The waitresses are welcoming and careful about your comfort and they will give you good advice about their new dishes. I still remember the delicious pumpkin cake I had for dessert!
There is also a wonderful musical selection that will keep you stuck in the chair. It's a pleasant place to go back to and it's even near one of my favorite squares in Florence. Keep in mind that the pizzeria has few tables and a long balcony, so I suggest you book a table in advance.
