Ok, I'm not going to apologize anymore if I spot a new lunch place. The discovery of Satori came at a time I was determined to try every all-you-can-eat sushi in Florence, and I'm happy to pronounce Satori as the current champion on my list.
The place is amazing, it used to be an old trattoria, and still has the beautiful naked walls, and old wooden doors, but the new Asian touch provides this place with even more charm, so you can see more bamboo and Buddhas and little waterfalls... it might sound kitsch, but I swear it's not!
I'm as penniless as ever, so the all-you-can-eat formula is the best way to enjoy some great sushi while keeping it under budget, and finally, Satori has brought a bite of (affordable) Japan here to the south side of the city!
Let's talk about the sushi now: it's delicious! The fish is very fresh and tasty, it melts on your tongue! The menu is not infinite like other places and that's a plus, cause I'm always very indecisive, but at Satori you can go with "one of everything, please" and you're fine! Another plus is the service, you order what you want at the beginning, and then watch all your dishes arrive one after the other at your table without queuing at the buffet!!
I can't wait to go back there, I'm addicted to sushi, and Satori is my favourite pusher.
