I grew up with Brazilian soap operas visiting our living room every night, hence there will always be a soft spot in my heart for this beautiful country.
Cafuchico is one of those small corners in Frankfurt that always brighten my day -- it feels both heart-warming and refreshing. Cafuchico is a cafĂ©, but it can also work as a bar or as a place for light snacks and lunches. Depending on the weather or on your mood, you can choose from different scenarios, from the lively terrace, to the cozy entrance and the relaxing rooms upstairs. Brightly-coloured and light-spirited, Cafuchico guarantees that you are always greeted with a smile.Â
So, what's your plan? Breakfast? Why don't you try an amazing Açaà bowl (typical Brazilian dish made of mashed açaà palm fruit)? Or if you prefer more savory flavours, perhaps a Mixto quente (ham & cheese toasted sandwich)? In case you are showing up later in the day and are looking forward to something more filling, Cafuchico offers salads, snacks and soups. Personally, I would suggest that you try a bolinho de bacalhau (Salt Cod Croquette), a coxinha (chicken leg-shaped fried pastry) or pão de queijo (baked cheese roll). You can obviously combine any of these with a natural juice (there are many to choose from), some Guaranå or even with a Caipirinha.
If you haven't been there, give it a go! It is totally worth it!
