Step into this space, and exhale. Set on the shores of the Lac Léman, the Bain Bleu is a spa that marries the luxury with the layman beautifully, and can provide a day of relaxation for all.

The interior pools are laid out a little like a maze, giving you the impression of floating along a river in a room that is at once spacious but intimately lit. The hammam area comes at an extra cost, and the ritual is well worth it. But the cherry on the cake, in my opinion, is the rooftop pool overlooking the serene Lac Léman. In the early hours, it’s the perfect place for families, where parents can get some QT while their children squeal as they discover the delights of Jacuzzi jets. Come 18:00, the kids are ushered out, replaced with young couples behind their mirrored sunglasses sipping on champagne by the side of the pool.

Left your wallet back in the locker three stories down? Bain Bleu is way ahead of you: you can buy all the snacks and drinks your heart desires using the rubber bracelet they gave you when you checked in.
