I generally spend a lot of my summer afternoons on the terrace of Da TavolonE. The first time I went there with my friends and we told the owner we were planning a picnic later that afternoon, he asked permission to help us with the undertaking, got the permission and went to work. We ended up with a picnic that looked like it was straight out of a movie, beautiful tablecloth and all. Delicious fresh Italian bread, three kinds of sausages, mortadella, traditional dried cheese, two (yes, two!) bottles of pinot grigio, some olives and one of those almond cookies each for desert. He even lent us a corkscrew, a cutting board and a knife for the bread and told us to bring them back, and I quote: "whenever".
Their truffle oil is to die for, and those typical brightly colored Italian sodas are really refreshing all year round and come in very nice bottles.
Also one of the tables on his terrace looks like a giant espresso cup.
