A new arrival in my beloved neighbourhood of Jonction: la Jonquille!
This recently opened “bar à bières”, located in the Eco quartier de la Jonction ( the same area of my my favourite beauty salon Pachamama) is a great add-on to Geneva’s pub scene: a place filled with good vibes, easy-going people and last, but not least, a large selection of local craft beers from Geneva and the surrounding areas! Weiss, pale and red ale, IPA, fruit ale... every beer lover will find their “cup of tea” here!
And La Jonquille is not only a pub but also a concert venue, as its massive basement is devoted to live music and every weekend offers a very eclectic choice of music to please every taste.
La Jonquille is very spacious and welcoming 2-level venue: the bar at the ground floor with a large open space area to stand and/or sit down and a cosy upper space, with a more chilled, relaxed seating area. A plus for the male crowd (but not only!): a table football, hidden in the very right corner, to refresh your childhood memories!
