If you don’t know where Julius Tagesessen is, chances are you’re going to pass it by without even noticing the cute little diner. That would definitely be a shame! Even though the small restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside, it is a great place for a quick lunch – or a longer stay.
Inside, Julius Tagesessen has only a few tables. The fact that most of the days during lunch time the diner is crowded with people speaks for itself! Not only people who work in the nearby offices love to have their lunch at the diner – tourists as well as locals from around the area love Julius Tagesessen for the variety of food and the nice and cozy atmosphere. My personal favorite is their potato soup - best eaten on a chilly autumn day.
Their lunch menu changes on a regular basis. Salads, soups, hot and cold drinks – this diner offers around ten different food options. If there is no space inside, you can easily take your lunch outside - as long as the weather permits. Julius Tagesessen also accepts orders to-go, so you can also have your lunch Hamburg-style on a bench outside of the diner!
For little money I love to have lunch at Julius Tagesessen!
