I would like to proudly introduce you to the concept of „cornern“: on the (admittedly not too frequent) balmy summer evenings, the city comes to life, suddenly every seat in front of the bars is taken and the people of Hamburg greet each other in a much less reserved manner than our reputation. But it's not just the bars that are busy; people are also bustling around the kiosks. In other words, they are cornering.
The concept is pretty simple — cheap drinks from the kiosk, hanging out together on the street corner, everyone is welcome and you can have a relaxed chat with old and new friends. A popular meeting place for this (and one of my favorite corners in Hamburg overall) is the kiosk Tabakbörse. So- grab a drink, stroll around a bit or indulge in your corner-experience :)
