I used to pass by this place on the tram on my way to work quite often and never really gave it any thought until a friend suggested we meet there for lunch one day. They had tons of student specials on their window and so I thought given the location and interior this place would be pricey, however I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did I enjoy live piano music but my beer and potato pancake together came to less than a main course in most places and so my stomach and wallet both really enjoyed this place.
The interior is quite large with big windows and high ceilings which makes a change to a lot of the restaurants in Krakow. The large windows face Planty Park which is a nice view during your meal even despite the trams passing by every so often. There is a pianist playing different tunes at different times of the day and the food is very tasty. They do have different specials throughout the day and student specials as it is located just across from the Jagiellonian Universities Collegium Novum building, so if you're a student you're in luck and I highly recommend this for a good meal.
