I have to say I was quite surprised that such a place exists outside the city center. I would never discover it myself, but now it's one of the pubs I love to come back to - and that's why ZielonoMi deserves a special recommendation!
It doesn't offer fancy drinks with extraordinary combinations. It doesn't have modern, minimalist furnishing. It might not sound appealing for now, but if think about it, things that might seem like drawbacks can actually become the biggest advantage. And that applies to ZielonoMi - it's a truly local spot where Cracovians spend their free evenings talking about prosaic stuff as well as art.
Art is written in the DNA of this bar. ZielonoMi owners are a couple, who are both graduates of the Theatre Academy and Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. You can feel this in the unique decor, where elements seem to be randomly added to the interior, but overall - they create a coherent image.
Many people who visit this place are locals and thus the atmosphere is casual and friendly. ZielonoMi is located near the final tram station on Salwator district, but don't worry - it's just a few minutes from the Main Square.
Don't hesitate to go there, order a beer or a glass of home wine and enjoy the homey, local ambience. Take a break from the city hustle and bustle, and let me know whether ZielonoMi conquered your heart too!
