If you’re looking for something to do on a sunny day in London, head to Hampstead. Start your day with some brunch, a coffee or even a crêpe, get some shopping done and browse through the bookshelves of some of the local libraries on the High Street. Grab some ice cream to go, and head down to the Heath. That’s a day well spent.
Regarding your brunch, Ginger & White has you covered. Located on a pedestrian street giving off “French countryside” vibes, it’s worth a visit. Serving classic breakfast items all the way to toasties and pastries, it’s got an extensive menu to choose from. Their croissants are great, buttery & airy, and their Grilled Chicken sandwich in particular was delicious.
I would recommend asking to be seated on the terrace, as their indoor space feels quite cramped. They also have a window shop where you can get coffee & pastries to go, that wraps all around the street parallel to Perrin’s Ct. Definitely sneak in and have a peek for a more secluded and quiet meal.
And remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach - so make it count!
