With a fusion concept between flavors of Sicily and New York, Grasso is a family-run business in the heart of Soho that has taken London by storm.
On their website, you can read about their story and how they came about, and you can really feel the love they’ve poured into every detail of this place.
Don’t expect to get a reservation anytime soon, with Grasso, you need to book almost 3 weeks in advance and hope you’re still free that day. But it is so so worth it.
The ambiance and deco truly make you feel like you’re in a diner in the US, but with Italian comfort foods and probably one of the most authentic tomato sauces in the city.
The mozzarella sticks are served on a bed of nduja sausage and are then drizzled with honey. They are divine. Every bite makes you smile.
We also ordered the chicken parm, slightly overpriced as it does not come with any sides, and the lamb ragu rigatoni. Both dishes were exquisite.
It’s the type of place where you want to rewind your experience just so you can eat everything all over again.
And remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach — so make it count!
