Experience outdoor shopping and relaxation at The Americana at Brand! I enjoy hanging out by the fountain, getting fresh air, and taking a break here after shopping next door at the Glendale Galleria (see Glendale Galleria article).
The Americana at Brand was built by Caruso Affiliated -the same company who built The Grove- so there is a similar vibe and no need to visit both locations if you are visiting L.A. for a short while (I recommend going to the Grove if you can only check out one location).
If you'd rather shop than rest, there's a ton of stores, including: Barnes & Noble, Barney's New York, Apple, Sephora, Anthropologie, UGG Australia, Lululemon Athletica, and Forever 21. You can also catch a movie at the Pacific Theaters. Pacific Theaters also hosts Monday Morning Mommy Movies for mom's with infants and there's also Fit4Mom Stroller Strides classes on Wednesdays and Fridays from 09:00 - 10:00.
Some eating options: Lemonade, Frida Mexican Cuisine, and Katsuya. For dessert, why not try the ever popular Sprinkles Cupcakes or Pinkberry frozen yogurt.
Shop, dine, or catch a film - there's plenty to do! Check out their website for more details.

My favorite bowl is the “Ritual of Champions”. It has acai, hemp seeds, strawberries, bananas, cacao, and peanut butter drizzled on top.
