I'm not a big shopper, but for some reason whenever I end up at the Glendale Galleria...I stay until it closes. I decided that it must be because of the architecture by Jon Jerde (who also did CityWalk, Newport Beach's Fashion Island, the Fremont Street Experience in Vegas, and the Mall of America in Minneapolis among many other mall and entertainment spaces). The skylights create a well-lit, open space that make it easy to spend hours shopping here.
This indoor mall is the third largest mall in L.A. County with more than 260 stores on 3 levels. Bloomingdale's, BCBG, Coach, Express, and even a Target can be found here.
The best thing about this location? The additional shopping opportunities in the area! When you tire of being indoors, you can walk to the beautiful Americana (see Americana at Brand article) for outdoor shopping and relaxation, stroll down Brand Boulevard for additional food and shopping options, or go across the street for great deals at discount stores like Marshalls and DSW.
Free parking.
