This is what I come here for: FULL BAR , DJs NIGHTLY, DANCING, PHOTO BOOTH, and BILLIARDS. Oh, and free jukebox until happy hour ends - until 22:00!
The most fun night is MOM (Motown On Mondays) which first started in the city of San Francisco over 5 years ago. Every Monday, hundreds of soul dance-ready folks from all over Los Angeles go to MOM's dance floors to absorb and reflect the love that some of the best DJs in the US give.
MOM LA has become an LA favorite: LA Weekly listed it in the "Top 10 Club Nights For People Who Don't Like Clubs". Get there by 21:30 to avoid crowds; it gets really busy at night.
There are several other bars and event venues in the area within walking distance from each other. Feel free to walk up and down the street. Stretching from East of Echo Park Ave to Short Stop. There is nothing else beyond EAST of Short Stop. If you go further West from Echo Park Ave. There is the ECHO and a few art shops. TAIX is a French restaurant within distance too.
Be careful of parking in this area - lots of signs. Watch out how you turn the wheel when you are parked down the slope. It's very tricky. And don't drink too much on a Monday night!
