The Broad Los Angeles

Contemporary art museum

Art & culture
""The Broad" is a free museum in Downtown L.A. that displays works from a variety of artists like Basquiat, Koons, and Yayoi Kusama."

Remember in Alice In Wonderland when Alice shrinks down to an itty-bitty size so that the table becomes HUGE? That is the experience I had at The Broad when standing underneath my favorite art piece, Robert Thurriens Under The Table. I loved feeling like a tiny human under a giant’s table! It would be so great if we could actually climb up the big chair…but, uh, it's artwork, so "don't touch"! :)

The main attraction that guests wait in line to see is Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Rooms--Longing for Eternity and The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away.

The Broad is a FREE museum and there are stand-by lines available, but it's best to reserve your tickets online, in advance. Tickets are released the 1st of every month.

After the museum you can head across the street to see The Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Music Center, and the Dance Door.
