If you ask some bartenders around the block where they go on their days off or when they get off work, the Elbow Room is the place.
Officially a sports bar with plenty, and I do mean plenty, of television screens for all kinds of sports or sports-related shows ranging from soccer, hockey, football, baseball, basketball, MMA fights. Whatever is out there. It is quite bright at night. However, the bar is a magnet for locals. It even says so on their own website.
This bar and pizza restaurant survived the pandemic by being smart with their seating arrangements and now have plenty of outdoor seating in the back to bring your friends.
Usually, when I walk in, I know the bartenders, I know the doorman, and I'll see plenty of regulars and everyone will know my name at the Elbow Room. At night and certain hours, you might see bartenders and staff from other places come by and have drinks with you when they are off their shift. You'll see me here lots!
This is a great place to get to know your locals and your local hospitality industry works. Not to mention plenty of actors and actresses trying to make it in Hollywood.
Oh, and they have pizza and good happy hour deals!
