Hidden Swing in Elysian Park Los Angeles

Although I've lived in LA for some time now, not until yesterday had I visited this beautiful park. It is huge and it has a lot of different areas! The first thing I saw when I parked was a family enjoying a BBQ party and also a lot of people with kids and dogs having a picnic. But I was looking for something different. I was looking for a swing I had already seen on pictures! So I asked the people I came across and no-one knew! It turned out that the swing is kind of hidden. So this article is about the hidden swing in Elysian Park & how to find it!
Let's start with the address. I made the mistake of typing "Elysian Park" in my GPS. It wasn't until I got there that I realized that the entrance was on the other side of the hill. So for the ones that may go, look for the address attached to this article. Once on the way up the hill, park after the purple bougainvillea bush. Then the swing will be just a little hike away.
The view is AMAZING. To the right, Downtown LA, to the left, the I-5 North and South. There's always going to be a line to take pictures at the swing, but it's definitely worth it. Next time though, I'll definitely go early in the morning, for more tranquility and to spent more time to really walk the whole park.
