LA's best rotisserie chicken
Tucked away in the charming Brentwood Country Mart stands an eatery that has been around since 1979. I’ve been coming here since I was a little boy. It was one of my favorite treats then and even as an adult, it remains one of my favorite splurges.
Reddi Chick is primarily known for its rotisserie chicken (sold as “barbeque chicken”) and French fries. A “barbeque chicken basket” is a half rotisserie chicken, half white-meat and dark-meat, fresh off the rotisserie served with a massive pile of French fries. The chicken itself is always moist and succulent. The chicken skin is perfectly caramelized and crispy with tremendous flavor. The French fries are perfectly crisp, ungreasy, well-seasoned, shoestrings.
Their menu also offers, among other items, rotisserie duck, fried chicken tenders, and ribs for those who desire more than rotisserie chicken.
The Brentwood Country Mart itself is a local hotspot worth visiting. With its red barn design, it was once laid back and quaint with simple stores and eateries designed for every day needs. Now, in line with upscale Brentwood, it is mostly comprised of independent, chic clothing boutiques.
Reddi Chick, ever popular with the locals, remained. For dinner, lunch, or a tasty snack, it’s perfect.

Second Pro-Tip: This place is VERY popular especially with parents who have young children. To avoid long lines, avoid peak hours during the summer time and school vacations.
