The Cat and Fiddle in LA has a nice, chill atmosphere, with lots of fun people from around the neighborhood. It moved from an old place near Sunset to next to my house, so there is no excuse for me to not come here.

It survived during the pandemic by being smart, cautious, and careful about patron's health and safety.

It is a restaurant, so it's better than bar food, with things such as fish and chips. There's lots of British memorabilia on the walls from old television shows. It's not a sports bar, but it seems like it’s been there for years.

They have good British food -- Monday's pie & pint. The meat pies are my favorite. Their happy hours (from 4:00pm to 7:00pm) are good for cheap food, and $5 is great for well drinks and beer. It's going to be the best St Patrick’s Day in my neighborhood!

This is my local bar that I can walk to, and I’ve been going there to read for a couple of days now. I've also had some fun conversations with the bartenders here. All the staff is actually super-nice, exactly because it's a neighborhood bar.

They have natural skylight at the bar as well as the patio which is very good for reading. The music isn't too loud, and it's got easy parking! They are bringing all their activities back.

If you have a dog, the Cat and Fiddle has a doggie menu.
