Kyosk is located in Kirchberg, behind the impressive Coque building (the National sports and culture centre), in the middle of the wonderful Kirchberg central park, with its nice ponds and huge playground for kids.
In 2011, Manu da Costa took on the challenge and opened "Kyosk", a "bar-restaurant-play" area in the stylish bunker designed by Polaris architects, just a few steps from the Coque in Kirchberg. Kyosk quickly became the trendiest and hippest meeting place for friends and families during the spring and summer months. There's something for everyone at Kyosk: regular petanque tournaments, wonderful DJ sets, barbecues, picnics, public viewing for important sport events, a huge playground for kids of all ages (even bigger ones like me) or even sunset yoga sessions.
We often go to Kyosk on a Sunday afternoon with my husband and kids, enjoying a beer while the kids are playing around or meeting some friends, and play petanque, the perfect way to chill and let the evening fade away in a relaxed atmosphere before starting a new week. From Kyosk you have direct access to cycle path PC2 (from Luxembourg city centre to Echternach) which is a nice way to discover the 3 wonderful parks of Kirchberg (Parc Central, Parc Réimerwee, Parc Klosegrënnchen).
Happy to meet you there!
