Let me tell you your fortune, if you're into that sort of thing. If you like positive affirmations, tarot cards, incense, self-help books, crystals, candles, meditation cushions, dream catchers, jewellery, angels and all things esoteric and spiritual, then you will love Scarabaeus.
Although in this life it can be tricky to know if you are on the right path, you won't have any trouble finding Scarabaeus. It's next to the Kaale Kaffee and near the history museum, and right around the corner from the palace and in the old quarter of town. In other words, if you are wandering around in the heart of the city, Scarabaeus is just a short walk away. Isn't that a spiritual truth too - that what you are searching for is often close at hand?
Nestled inside an old house filled with nooks and crannies, you are welcome to linger, browse and be enchanted here. You've heard of walking meditation, surely? This is shopping meditation! And although we leave this life with nothing, you might very well leave this shop with a big bag - full of books, jewellery, gemstones and gifts for a few people you'd like to bring souvenirs home for!
