Les Thermes may look much like an alien spaceship, however, it houses everything you need for fun, fitness and relaxation. From Hamilius in the city centre, take bus ligne 8 Bertrange and within minutes you too can board the ship!
Les Thermes houses a wave pool, kiddie pool, massive whirlpool, outdoor pool, and a deep pool for lane swimming and diving. Our favorite part of going is the racing water slide that allows three people to race each other. The slide has colorful lights throughout and screens with various flashy designs and it magically records how each person’s speed and time. If you want to ensure winning, I highly suggest taking the slide furthest to the right! During summer months, beach volleyball and lounging on sun chairs outside are a lovely break from the pools. Weekends can be busy but most people are well-behaved!
If you aren’t feeling the swimming vibe, Les Thermes also offers a full gym, spa and a variety of saunas. However, be warned that the saunas follow traditional etiquette. For those unfamiliar with what this may mean, it means “in the nude”. You can check online for gender-specific sauna times if you aren’t fully ready to take the plunge into tradition.
It’s quite easy to spend hours at Les Thermes without noticing the time. If hunger strikes and you are ready to head out, I suggest taking a short walk to Mercato for some delicious Italian food to wrap up a great day of fun!
