If you find yourself near Trianglen (there is a lot going on there) and need a minute to sit back, thrash out on a quick email, or just find some local art, be sure to drop by Cowgirl Gallery.
This little boutique is easy to miss, so be glad google maps has your back. You’ll walk in to find a serene space with some unique ceramic pieces on display. While you wait for your coffee and freshly baked Fika, browse around and venture into the rooms at the back.
What might look like a small, unassuming cafe will surprise you with some unique canvases painted by Malmo’s local artists. Come nighttime, the space transforms into a venue for local music, film screenings, book readings, exhibition openings, and all things art and culture.
Selma, the owner of Cowgirl, is happy to chat and share more about the art that she has on display and the artists she features. If you enjoy your experience there, then follow them on Instagram and stay up to date with their live events including book releases, jazz nights, movie screenings, and more.
