Located in Malmö's Möllan area in an old chocolate factory, Inkonst is a venue dedicated to contemporary culture. Their program consists of music, talks, performing arts and beyond.
Inkonst is the place to head in Malmö if you are into techno and experimental music.
Inkonst could be easily located somewhere in Berlin, which is known to be the hotspot for club culture in Europe, since the vibe is very similar. The club nights there are not only about music, but also a strong emphasis is put on visual aesthetics and light art. Therefore, Inkonst offers an overall art experience, or as they state on their website, Inkonst is “a place where it’s possible to step outside of yourself and experience something you never even thought possible.”
It is also a concert venue, and the stage is open to artists representing all genres. Check out their Facebook page for upcoming events.
Of the 195 nationalities listed by the U.N., 184 are represented in Malmö. Nowhere is this more visible than in the city district “Möllevången”...
