Finding suitable things to eat in Malmö as a vegan is not a challenge at all, since most of the places have vegan options available. And then there are places like Vegegården, which goes beyond all the expectations a hungry vegan could have.
Vegegården is just like any typical Asian fusion all-you-can-eat buffet, except that everything on the menu is vegan. The taste of the dishes is so authentic that even I was doubtful in the beginning whether the food was actually meat free. Further empirical research has proven that even non-vegans are unable to recognize the difference in taste.
Maintaining moderation in this place is impossible, so second helpings are inevitable. 89 SEK for the lunch buffet is one of the best deals for a vegan meal you’ll find in the city. On the weekends the place is open serving a bigger buffet, which makes Vegegården a perfect option for a hangover brunch.
