The Frog and Bucket Comedy Club is a great place whether you want to see an already recognised comedian or would like to watch new up-and-comers at an open mic night.
The open mic competition 'Beat the Frog' pits up to ten comedians against each other, the audience choosing whether or not to let them continue their act for the full five minutes.
As with any open mic event, the level of talent can vary from week to week, but from my experience, you'll normally find at least one act who'll interest you!
The Frog and Bucket also offer a family comedy show as well as many other events which are available to check out on their website or Facebook.
The club has seen the beginnings of many famous comedians such as Johnny Vegas, John Bishop and Peter Kay.
Comedy is obviously a subjective thing but the sheer amount on offer at The Frog and Bucket means that hopefully you'll be able to find something you like.
